Homemade springrolls are easy and fun to make, especially with some friends. It's a great participation food creation event.
All you need is some spring rolls, a plate or pan of water, and lots of fresh ingredients; vegetables, and your favorite meat if any. I chose chicken and shrimp with a hoison sauce sauteed with minced garlic and ginger, in coconut oil and butter. Follow directions for soaking the spring roll and wrapping. This takes some practice. Even if it doesn't come out right the first time, it still tastes delicious. For a peanut sauce, try organic creamy peanut butter, soy sauce, olive oil, and dash of sesame stirred together.
